Guided Choices

When our students have reached the most important point in their school life so far – choosing the subjects that they will study at Key Stage 4. Guided Choices allow students to pick the subjects that they would like to study alongside a ‘core’ of subjects that are seen as essential, such as English, Maths, Science, and Religious Studies.

Getting the right choice of subjects is crucial. The decisions can affect or determine what a student’s future will hold; the job that they do, the apprenticeship they follow, the College or University course that they take.

Our Guided Choices process supports the students in making these choices. The information below provides step-by-step guidance and offers answers to many of the most commonly asked questions.

This page will continue to be updated during the Guided Choices process, so please check back regularly for support and guidance at each stage of the process.
